Two-component screen printing ink Z/DD

Two-component Z/DD screen printing ink for treated polypropylene and polyethylene, thermosets and varnished parts, with the highest solvent resistance.

Colour

  • Yellow

Z/DD two-component screen printing inks are inks for treated polyolefins (polypropylene and polyethylene), other thermoplastics, thermosets and varnished parts, with the highest possible resistance to solvents.

Application

For printing on treated polyolefins such as polypropylene and polyethylene and other thermoplastics.

Also for use with thermosets such as glass-fibre-reinforced polyester, phenoplasts and aminoplasts, and varnished parts (air-dried or stoved, including two-component varnishes).

Properties

Once dry, Z/DD screen printing inks have a high-gloss finish, good weather resistance and the highest possible resistance to solvents. Solvent resistance tests should be carried out three days after printing.

Frequently asked questions

About the Two-component screen printing ink Z/DD

Which two-component screen printing ink works on polypropylene and polyethylene?

Z/DD ink is intended for treated polyolefins such as polypropylene and polyethylene, and for other thermoplastics. The surface must be treated; for untreated polypropylene there is the one-component PP series.

When can solvent resistance tests be carried out with Z/DD ink?

Solvent resistance tests on Z/DD ink should be carried out three days after printing. Once dry, it offers the highest possible resistance to solvents, high gloss and good weather resistance.

Can Z/DD ink be printed on varnished parts?

Yes. Z/DD is suitable for air-dried or stoved varnished parts, including two-component varnishes, and for thermosets such as glass-fibre-reinforced polyester, phenoplasts and aminoplasts.

What is the difference between Z/DD and Z inks?

Both are two-component inks for treated polyolefins, thermosets and varnished parts. Z/DD stands out for the highest possible resistance to solvents and for its weather resistance; Z is designed for applications requiring high chemical resistance, such as chemical containers, and is also suitable for acrylic glass, cellulose acetate, acetobutyrate and polyamide.

How do I request a quote for Z/DD ink?
