Data protection

Privacy policy

This is a translation of the Spanish privacy policy; in case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Data controller

The controller of your data is IBPRINT, S.L., with its registered address at C/ Dinamarca 3, Nave 6, 08700 Igualada (Barcelona), Spain, and contact email info@ibprint.es.

2. Data we process and why

Through the contact and quote request form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional) and the message you send us, together with the product you are enquiring about. We use them solely to deal with your request, prepare the quote and maintain the resulting business contact.

Along with the submission we also record the IP address and the browser it was sent from. These two items are not used for commercial purposes: they serve only to curb automated form submissions and to limit the number of requests per sender.

3. Legal basis

The legal basis is the consent you give when you submit the form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, where applicable, taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). For the IP address and browser, the basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the form against abuse (Article 6(1)(f)).

We do not carry out profiling. We do apply an automatic filter that discards submissions showing clear signs of being automated, without human intervention. If you believe your request has been discarded by mistake, write to us and we will deal with it all the same.

4. Retention

We keep your data for as long as the business relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods required by law. Once it is no longer needed, we delete it securely.

5. Recipients

We do not disclose your data to third parties unless required by law. The technology providers that support this website (hosting, storage and email delivery) may access it as data processors, subject to the safeguards of the GDPR.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the sender is a person and not a program. To do so, Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical data about your browser. It does not install advertising or track you across other sites.

International transfers

Some of these providers (Google, Cloudflare and our hosting and email providers) are companies based in, or owned by groups based in, the United States, so your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. These transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023) or, where a provider is not certified under it, on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission (Articles 45 and 46 GDPR).

6. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, through Google Tag Manager, to find out which pages are visited and what is requested from them. It helps us decide what to expand in the catalogue and what to explain better; we do not build advertising profiles with this data.

None of this is installed until you accept it. Until you respond, or if you decline, the tags do not store cookies on your device. You can change your mind whenever you like, and withdrawing your permission is as easy as giving it:

What is stored

  • Your answer to the cookie notice is kept in your browser’s local storage (ibp_consent). Technically it is not a cookie, but it is storage on your device and Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI-CE treats it in the same way, so we mention it here.
  • Google Analytics cookies (_ga and similar), only if you accept. They distinguish visits and sessions; they expire after two years.
  • A form timestamp (ibp_lead), which lasts five minutes and exists only so that the same request is not counted twice.

If you decline, Google still receives a signal without identifiers (no cookies and nothing stored on your device) that only allows it to estimate, in aggregate, how many people have visited. We mention it because it is what actually happens, not because your permission is needed for it: what the law regulates is storage on your device, and nothing is stored there.

7. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, withdraw at any time the consent you gave when sending the form, and ask for a person to review any decision made by the automatic filter by writing to info@ibprint.es. If you consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work; in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
