What containers is the SS103 cylindrical screen printing machine designed for?
The SS103 is particularly suited to cylindrical plastic jars and bottles for cosmetic use, with or without a registration mark. It loads, prints, UV-dries and unloads automatically.
How does the SS103 differ from the S103?
On the SS103 the screen frame and the part rotation are servo-driven as standard, without pinions or racks, and pre-registration is also servo-driven with an optical sensor. On the S103 these servo motor drives are optional.
How does the SS103 carry out pre-registration?
If the part has a registration notch, the SS103 performs servo-driven automatic pre-registration with an optical sensor, so that the print always lands in the same position relative to the notch.
Can the SS103 treat the container surface before printing?
Yes, as an option: the SS103 can be fitted with automatic flame treatment or a dust cleaner. Flame treatment is the usual pre-treatment when the container is made of a plastic such as polypropylene or polyethylene.
