SS3M – Full servo automatic screen printing machine
Full servo automatic screen printing machine particularly suited to cylindrical containers: jars, bottles, flexible tubes, sleeves, etc., with or without a registration mark.
- Manual loading of jars via conveyor belt. Jars are placed upside down to avoid scratches or scuffs.
- Automatic loading onto mandrels or fixtures by servo robot. Containers are picked up, rotated 90º and placed on the mandrels.
- The loading systems for jars and bottles are different, so separate machines must be used.
- Automatic pre-registration if the part has a registration notch.
- Automatic flame treatment.
- Three-colour printing in a single process.
- High-efficiency UV LED drying system after each print. A European-made electrode UV drying system can optionally be installed.
- All machine processes are driven by servo motors, for greater print precision. All the servo motors are Ethercat.
- Lateral movement of the screen frames driven by servo motor. Mandrels fitted with servo motors for rotation, which makes gears unnecessary and makes changeover between products easier and quicker.
- Mandrels fitted with a vacuum suction system.
- Gripper-type fixtures for bottles.
- Japanese-made Sandex indexer, of maximum precision, with 12 fixtures or mandrels.
- Automatic unloading of parts. Jars are picked up from the mandrels, rotated 90º and placed upside down on a conveyor belt, to prevent them from being scratched. The bottle gripper fixtures open and drop the parts onto the unloading belt.
- Safety guards and machine housing in line with CE regulations.
- Control PLC and touch screen with WiFi connection for remote control and maintenance.

Frequently asked questions
About the SS3M – Full servo automatic screen printing machine
What containers does the SS3M screen printing machine print?
The SS3M is particularly suited to cylindrical containers (jars, bottles, flexible tubes, sleeves, etc.), with or without a registration mark, and prints them in three colours in a single process.
Can the same SS3M be used for jars and for bottles?
No. On the SS3M the loading systems for jars and for bottles are different, so separate machines must be used. For bottles, the SS3M uses gripper-type fixtures; for jars, mandrels with vacuum suction.
How does the SS3M prevent jars from being scratched?
Jars enter upside down on the conveyor belt, the servo robot rotates them 90º to place them on the mandrels and, at the exit, they are rotated 90º again and placed upside down on the belt, to avoid scratches or scuffs.
What drying system does the SS3M have?
The SS3M dries with high-efficiency UV LED after each print. A European-made electrode UV drying system can optionally be installed.
How many fixtures does the SS3M have and how is it controlled?
The SS3M is fitted with a Japanese-made Sandex indexer with 12 fixtures or mandrels, all with servo motor rotation, and is controlled by a PLC and touch screen with WiFi connection for remote control and maintenance.
