UVN series UV-curing screen printing inks are suitable for a variety of applications. Thanks to the high quality of the raw materials used, UVN meets the most demanding requirements.
Application
Although UVN series inks were developed specifically for printing on PVC, they have also shown positive results on varnished polyolefins, varnished polyesters, polycarbonate, papers and boards.
Due to the different characteristics of the substrates, preliminary tests are necessary.
The range of substrates may be extended over time thanks to continuous further development.
Properties
UVN screen printing inks are solvent-free. They are UV-curing inks based on prepolymerised acrylates and do not contain NVP (N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone).
After UV polymerisation, this system develops a glossy surface with very good abrasion resistance. When used properly, this type of ink shows good weather and chemical resistance without requiring an additional overvarnish. This UV system has medium opacity with very high gloss.
