SunVetro NVTGL inks are organic UV-curing screen printing inks for direct printing on glass (containers and flat glass), for example bottles, drinking glasses, cosmetic jars and medical vials, ceramic mugs.
Properties
- Organic UV-curing screen printing inks, highly reactive. - Processed as a 2/3-component ink with adhesion promoter/hardener. - To achieve the best possible resistance, a secondary thermal post-cure is recommended to obtain optimum adhesion and resistance properties. - High gloss. - Excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals and dishwashers. - NVTGL inks are suitable for indoor exposure and short-term outdoor exposure.
Note: Due to the variety of glass and ceramic products and the different pretreatment methods, prior testing is essential to confirm the suitability of NVTGL inks.

Does NVTGL ink need a hardener or post-cure?
Yes. SunVetro NVTGL is processed as a 2/3-component ink with adhesion promoter/hardener, and to achieve the best resistance a secondary thermal post-cure is recommended, which optimises adhesion and resistance.
Does NVTGL withstand the dishwasher and outdoor use?
NVTGL ink offers excellent resistance to abrasion, chemicals and dishwashers. It is suitable for indoor exposure and short-term outdoor exposure.
Which UV glass ink should I choose: NVTGL, Vitrocure SVC or UVGS?
It depends on the item and the process. SunVetro NVTGL is used with adhesion promoter/hardener and a recommended thermal post-cure, and covers containers, flat glass and ceramic mugs; Vitrocure SVC is a highly reactive organic ink for drinking glasses, glass-ceramics and bottles, dishwasher resistant with the right primer; UVGS is adjusted with additive and ranges from large glass panels to drinking glasses. In all cases, prior tests must be carried out on the actual glass: tell us the item, the pretreatment and the volume and we will advise you.
